East Coast Bays Softball (ECB) is a proud community club with a 45+ year history, run entirely by dedicated volunteers. We are passionate about creating an environment where players of all ages enjoy participating in our great game and have the opportunity to achieve higher honours if they choose.

Softball is a fantastic summer sport played between October and March. All ECB home games are held at the world-class Rosedale Park Softball Facility in Albany, under the North Harbour Softball Association (NHSA). NHSA includes nine affiliated clubs, with Rosedale Park offering 18 diamonds, creating a vibrant and exciting atmosphere with multiple games played simultaneously and hundreds of players, supporters, officials, and families in attendance.

In the 2025/26 season, East Coast Bays Softball fielded 27 teams with over 322 players, and we are proud to be the only club within NHSA to have five senior women’s teams.

Our club’s success and culture have been recognised at both regional and national levels. We were honoured to receive Softball New Zealand’s “Club of the Year” for 2022/23, as well as the North Harbour Softball Dublin Trophy for Top Club for consecutive years.

Why We Need Sponsorship

Our committee actively seeks fundraising, sponsorship, and grant opportunities to support the ongoing growth and sustainability of the club. This funding is vital to:

  • Keep junior fees affordable, helping more children access the sport
  • Maintain and replace team uniforms
  • Provide safety equipment (including catcher’s gear and helmets)
  • Purchase bats, balls, training equipment, and gear bags
  • Support coaching, training, prizegivings, and equipment storage

SPONSORSHIP OPTIONS

BRONZE SPONSOR – under $700

Bronze sponsorship offers flexible ways to support our club and our players, including but not limited to:

  • Club Donation – Contribute directly to the club by selecting “Make a Donation” on our Merchandise Order Form.
  • Fundraising Prize Donation – Provide a prize (e.g. a gift voucher) for one of our fundraising activities, such as our Annual Calendar Raffle. Your business name will appear on raffle tickets, receive a Facebook shout-out during raffle month, and be acknowledged during the Facebook Live prize draw.
  • Player Sponsorship – Support a player directly, from helping a junior who may not otherwise be able to participate, to assisting a talented player with fees when playing in multiple grades.

SILVER SPONSOR – $701 to $1,400

As a Silver Sponsor, your support reaches even more players and families. Your contribution helps us keep junior fees affordable and ensures our teams are equipped with the required safety equipment in their gear bags.

Silver Sponsor benefits include:

  • Sponsor logo with website link displayed in the Sponsorship section on the ECB Softball home page
  • Business description and contact details featured on our Sponsors page
  • Sponsor announcement post on the ECB Softball Facebook page

GOLD SPONSOR – from $1,500

Gold sponsorship provides significant support to the club and may include equipment funding or full team sponsorship.

Gold Sponsor benefits include:

  • All Silver Sponsor benefits, plus:
  • Naming rights for sponsored teams, displayed on NHSA competition draws(e.g. “Carpet Court Panthers”)
  • Team photo featuring your sponsor logo

  • ECB Premier Reserve Women – Panthers - New player jerseys: $1,500
  • ECB Division 3 Women – Phoenix - New player jerseys: $1,500
  • ECB Division 1 Men - New player jerseys: $1,500
  • ECB Premier Men – Our Premier Men are seeking sponsorship support to help with costs associated with attending five days of Club Nationals at Rosedale Park. Sponsorship opportunities are flexible and negotiable, and may include options such as named gazebo placement, sponsor flags, and on-site branding.   • Junior Grade or Team Sponsorship – Support the next generation of softball players by sponsoring a junior team or grade.
