Expression of Interest – Foundation Head Coach
Prem Women’s Team | 2026/27 Season

We are excited to invite expressions of interest from experienced and motivated coaches for the role of Foundation Head Coach of our new Prem Women’s team, launching in the 2026/27 season.

This is a rare opportunity to lead a brand-new women’s program from its inception and play a defining role in shaping its identity, culture, and long-term direction. As a foundation coach, you will have the opportunity to help establish the standards, game model, and environment that will underpin the program for years to come.

Our club is committed to building a strong, sustainable Prem Women’s team that balances competitive ambition with player development, wellbeing, and a positive club culture. We are investing in women’s softball and are seeking a coach who is excited by the challenge of building something new, rather than inheriting something existing.

The Foundation Head Coach will:

• Lead the establishment of the Prem Women’s program
• Build and develop a competitive playing group
• Define the team’s playing style and training framework
• Set clear cultural and performance standards
• Work collaboratively with club leadership and support staff
• Contribute to the long-term growth of women’s softball within the club

We are seeking coaches who bring:

• Experience in senior women’s softball and/or elite pathways
• Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
• A clear coaching philosophy and people-first approach
• A desire to build, lead, and leave a lasting legacy

Interested coaches are invited to submit a brief expression of interest outlining their coaching background, philosophy, and interest in leading a foundation Prem Women’s program.
