Welcome to East Coast Bays United Softball Club!

Looking for a fun, active way to spend your summer? You've come to the right place! At East Coast Bays United Softball Club, located on the beautiful North Shore of Auckland, we're all about enjoying the game, making new friends, and building a community.

Whether you're a young player just starting out (we welcome kids from as young as 5!) or a seasoned pro, we’ve got a spot for you! From our junior teams to senior grades – both social and competitive – there’s something for everyone at ECB Softball.

Our season runs from September to March, and we play at the fantastic North Harbour Softball Association grounds at Rosedale Park in Albany. It’s the perfect way to get active, enjoy some friendly competition, and make lasting memories with your family.

We’re incredibly proud of our dedicated coaches and hard-working committee who make sure every player has a blast while developing their skills. In fact, our commitment to excellence has earned us some amazing achievements, including being named Softball New Zealand's Club of the Year 2022/23, with our own Suzette Taylor receiving both Volunteer of the Year and the prestigious Softballer of the Year awards! Not to mention, we've taken home the North Harbour Top Club Trophy for the last two seasons in a row!

    ECB HELPERS NEEDED - CHAMPAGNE ON THE SHORE - 07 MAY 2026

    Champagne on the Shore is an annual fundraising event on Auckland’s North Shore, raising vital funds for Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC New Zealand). Every dollar raised goes directly toward supporting families with seriously ill children—keeping them close when it matters most.

    This year’s event will be held at Archibald & Shorter North Shore.  We’re looking for 18–20 volunteers (aged 18+) to help bring the evening to life. It’s a great opportunity to give back in a meaningful way.  Volunteer roles may include welcoming guests with drinks, assisting with beverage service, helping during dinner, supporting the auction, and providing car yard support. 

    The event is being coordinated by Kylie Sims. This is a chance to come together as a club, make a real difference, and contribute to something bigger than ourselves.
