Date: 23 September 2026 🥎THE 2026/27 SOFTBALL SEASON IS ALMOST HERE! The wait is nearly over! Our Premier Men, Prem Reserve Men and Prem Reserve Women take to the diamond this Saturday for their first games of the 2026/27 season. SATURDAY 26 SEPTEMBER – GAME DAY 10am | Prem Reserve Women – Panthers vs Bandits - Freeman Field We’ll have the ECB Gazebo set up alongside Freeman Field as our club base, so head on down, bring the family and support our teams. And for those new to the club… this is completely normal ECB behaviour. We obsessively head out and support our teams! We’re one whanau, and game days are a great chance to catch some quality softball, and this weekend get in behind our top senior players as they kick off their season. They show what can come from hard work, commitment and sticking with the sport. You can find game times via the draws online www.ecbsoftball.org.nz personally we think Dave from our Renegades is pretty cleaver with his Rosedale Bounce website, which when the season starts will be a easy way to find your game times. 🪧🎨🖌️SUPPORTER SIGNS FOR SATURDAY🪧🎨🖌️To help get the sidelines buzzing, we’re holding another Best Supporter Sign Competition. Grab an old box, some pens, paint or whatever you have lying around and get creative! Bring your sign along on Saturday and you could win a spot prize during the game for getting behind our teams. These signs will be on the live stream, so we can help zip tie them to the fence. The louder and more creative, the better! |
💪 PRE-SEASON TRAINING – OCTOBERWe know everyone is keen to get back on the diamond! North Harbour doesn't get access to the grounds from the council until the season starts, so our Club Captain, Bron, has secured Albany Domain for ECB pre-season training. This gives our players the opportunity to get moving, sharpen up their skills and get ready for the season ahead. Location: Albany Domain More details about training times will be shared on Team Reach. Please do not train at Rosedale Park until we have been given the all clear to start training and had our training dates released. |

GROCERY GRAB - LAST CHANCE TO GRAB TICKETS Imagine walking away with a trolley packed with groceries while helping our senior teams gear up for an exciting season ahead. Funds raised by our Rangers who are fundraising in support of our Juniors and Prem Men who are fundraising to help with the high costs of representing ECB at the Men's Open Club National tournament costs, as they travel to Wellington in March 2027.
1st Prize: 90 second grocery grab at Long Bay New World Prizes will be drawn on Saturday 3rd October with the Grocery Grab at New World Long Bay on Sunday 11th October 2026 @ 7am.
