Date: 13 September 2026 🥎THE 2026/27 SOFTBALL SEASON IS ALMOST HERE! The countdown is on! With the new softball season just around the corner, there’s plenty happening at East Coast Bays United Softball Club as we get ready to welcome our returning players and new members back to the diamond. Our Club Captains are going through registrations to see if we have the numbers required for our teams. If you haven't registered yet, please do so as soon as possible, as they can only make teams out of players that have registered. If you haven't registered for the 26/27 season and are going to play, please register as soon as possible. In this newsletter you'll find:

Sat 26 Sep 2026 - Premier Men, Premier Reserve Men & Women (Panthers) 🥎 ECB HAVE A GO DAY – SATURDAY 19 SEPTEMBER Know someone who might want to play softball? Our Have a Go Day is the perfect chance to introduce new players to our club, share what makes softball so much fun and bring them along to our Have a Go Day. 📅 Sat 19 Sep 2026: between 1pm - 3pm 🥎 WOMEN'S MENTAL SKILLS - 22 SEPTEMBERKelly Young is a high performance and mindset coach with 20+ years experience, helping teams and individuals build mental toughness and perform under pressure through practical framework of mindset, health, leadership and connection. All our ECB female players aged 14+ to seniors are encouraged to attend this session with Kelly Young. She will cover practical tools for pressure, breathwork, communication, confidence, mindset and recovering from mistakes. This is a great opportunity to develop the mental skills that make all the difference on the field. We’d love to see as many of our women players there as possible! 📅Tues 22 Sep 2026: 6:30-8pm *Players aged 14–16 must be accompanied by an adult.  |

💪 PRE-SEASON TRAINING – OCTOBERWe know everyone is keen to get back on the diamond! North Harbour doesn't get access to the grounds from the council until the season starts, so our Club Captain, Bron, has secured Albany Domain for ECB pre-season training. This gives our players the opportunity to get moving, sharpen up their skills and get ready for the season ahead. Pre-season training dates
