NEW 10 WEEK WINTER SKILLS DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME Winter is the perfect time to build, refine and sharpen your softball skills. Exclusive to our ECB Softball members we are offering a, 10-Week Winter Skills Development Programme. This programme is designed to help players aged 11 - 18 years, at all abilities focus on the fundamentals, develop stronger techniques and gain the confidence needed to take their game to the next level. Through structured training sessions, athletes will have the opportunity to improve their throwing, catching, fielding, hitting, base running and game awareness while receiving quality coaching and repetition in a supportive environment. Whether you’re learning the basics, refining key skills, or preparing for higher levels of competition, this programme is about investing in your development and becoming a more complete softball player. 🥎 Fundamental Skill Development The off-season is where improvement happens. Build your foundation, sharpen your skills and set yourself up for success before the season begins. 💚💛 Available to our players aged 11 - 18 years old, Spaces are limited, register early to secure your spot in the programme.
Total cost $50 to be paid or invoiced upon registration. Players that have 80% attendance will have the cost of the programme credited to their fees for the 2026/27 season. **If you know you can't attend all sessions but still want to attend when you can, please submit a form, and follow up with an email to clubcaptain@ecbsoftball.org.nz Our ECB coaches are encouraged to come along and participate with the kids, to have hands on experience on the drills for their practices.  |

SCORERS CLINIC WITH ANDIE - SUNDAY 28 JUNE Our Head Scorer, Andie has been running a scorers clinic on Sundays during Slowpitch, those wanting to learn to score, or work on their scoring, can meet in the scorers room at 11am for a few tips, then you'll move out to one of the games and score the slowpitch games. Getting real time game experience and help. WEDNESDAY EVENING THROW AROUND @ FREYBERG PARK Troy Smail has secured Freyberg Park to hold a casual weekly throw around under lights. For those who love the idea of an endless softball season, this could be just the thing for you. These sessions are not structured training; instead, they're casual get-togethers that provide a great opportunity for self-motivated players to keep active, practice, and continue developing their skills throughout the off-season. NORTH HARBOUR BATTERY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM Fundamentals (aimed at U9-U13 years) Development (aimed at U13 - U19 years) Session Dates The sessions, spaced apart to allow athletes time between sessions to work independently on their skills before returning for the next session. Location: Leveloff Field, Rosedale Park Cost: $10 per person, per session Attendance at all sessions is not required, however attending multiple session will be beneficial for athlete progression and development throughout the program. EASTER CLASSIC TOURNAMENT 2027 It might seem early to be thinking about Easter Classic 2027, however, Auckland Softball Association has already reached capacity for this tournament and are now seeking deposits for teams. Under 14 Boys & Under 14 Girls Before we commit to paying non-refundable deposits for East Coast Bays teams, we need to ensure we have strong player interest to support entering teams in this tournament. As a result, we are now seeking Expressions of Interest from players who would like to play for East Coast Bays at the Auckland Softball - Easter Classic Tournament 2027.
