Junior Prizegiving – Tomorrow!

Our Junior Prizegiving is happening tomorrow, Sunday 26 April, starting at 1:00pm. Please arrive a few minutes early and be seated with your teams.

Event Details:
When: Sunday 26 April 2026
Where: North Harbour Softball Stadium (Jack Hinton Drive – best access via Paul Matthews Road)
Time: 1:00pm – approximately 3:00pm

Teams will be called up from U5 through to Under 19s and the full programme is available on our website.

Pizzas will be available after the prizegiving, and teams will receive a token for a Mr Whippy ice cream.  We look forward to seeing you there to celebrate the successes of this season.

Their pantries are running low, and they'd be so grateful for any donations of the following items:
Movie night snacks for kids:
• Multipack popcorn, chip bags, lollies, chocolates or other treats. 
Pantry staples:
Cooking oil, tinfoil, canned tuna, canned fruit / fruit salad, pepper

We will have a collection area at the top of the stadium tomorrow if you had anything you could spare.  Please ensure all items are nut-free and packaged so they can be easily shared among families.

Softball hasn't finished for our young NZ Softball players who are still going strong.

Meanwhile, the Under 23 Men’s Softball World Cup kicks off tomorrow in Colombia, featuring Fergus McAlpine as assistant coach for the U23 Black Sox. It is going to be a great tournament, so grab a game pass to catch all the action from 25 April - 03 May 2026 (Colombia time)

SENIOR PRIZEGIVING – SATURDAY 2 MAY 2026

Join us as we celebrate the season for all senior teams. This event is open to all members, senior players, coaches, and management staff across every grade.

When: Saturday 2 May 2026
Where: Browns Bay Bowling Club, 784 Beach Road, Browns Bay
Time: From 4:00pm (Option One) or 7:15pm (Option Two)

SENIOR PRIZEGIVING DETAILS AND TICKETS

A FEW MORE ECB HELPERS NEEDED - CHAMPAGNE ON THE SHORE - 07 MAY 2026

We still need a few more volunteers (18+ years old) to help at the Champagne on the Shore is an annual fundraising event on Auckland’s North Shore, raising vital funds for Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC New Zealand). Every dollar raised goes directly toward supporting families with seriously ill children—keeping them close when it matters most.

This year’s event will be held on Thursday, 7 May 2026 at Archibald & Shorter North Shore. Volunteer roles may include welcoming guests with drinks, assisting with beverage service, helping during dinner, supporting the auction, and providing car yard support. 

The event is being coordinated by Kylie Sims, who will assign roles on the night.

If you’re able to lend a hand, we’d love your support, it's a chance to show what a truly amazing club we have.  Please register your interest if you’re keen to be involved.
