We’re excited to confirm that dates for our 2025/26 season prizegivings have now been finalised—be sure to lock these into your calendars as we look forward to celebrating a fantastic season together. A reminder that our Special General Meeting (SGM) will be held this Sunday, 29 March at 3:00pm at the North Harbour Softball Stadium meeting rooms (best accessed via Paul Matthews Drive). Your attendance is important, as we need to pass key resolutions to ensure we can re-register as an Incorporated Society under the Incorporated Societies Act 2022. As we approach the end of our financial year, we kindly ask that any outstanding invoices—whether for merchandise or fees—are paid as soon as possible. If you need assistance, please contact Suzette to arrange a payment plan.  |
CONGRATULATIONS !!! We couldn’t be prouder of our players, who continue to achieve outstanding success at a national level. Congratulations to Zach Adkins on his selection to the Junior Black Sox U18 Boys. Zach will compete in the U18 Oceania Qualifiers in Manawatū this ANZAC weekend. Well done also to Wilbur Congalton and Kaleb Taylor on their selection into the U15 Black Sox Squad. Your hard work and dedication are being recognised, and we look forward to seeing where your softball journeys take you next. |
JUNIOR PRIZEGIVING - SUNDAY 26 APRIL 2026 When: Sunday 26 April 2026
SENIOR PRIZEGIVING – SATURDAY 2 MAY 2026 Join us as we celebrate the season for all senior teams. This event is open to all senior players, coaches, and management staff across every grade. When: Saturday 2 May 2026 OPTION ONE: Lawn Bowls, Dinner and Prizegiving Enjoy a fun-filled evening with our ECB Lawn Bowling competition, followed by dinner, drinks, and prizegiving celebrations. ECB HELPERS NEEDED - CHAMPAGNE ON THE SHORE - 07 MAY 2026 We’re reaching out to our ECB community to support a truly special cause. Champagne on the Shore is an annual fundraising event on Auckland’s North Shore, raising vital funds for Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC New Zealand). Every dollar raised goes directly toward supporting families with seriously ill children—keeping them close when it matters most. This year’s event will be held on Thursday, 7 May 2026 at Archibald & Shorter North Shore. Our ECB U13 sponsor, Janbre Group, is a proud supporter of this event and has invited our club to be part of it. We’re looking for 18–20 volunteers (aged 18+) to help bring the evening to life. It’s a great opportunity to give back in a meaningful way. Volunteer roles may include welcoming guests with drinks, assisting with beverage service, helping during dinner, supporting the auction, and providing car yard support. The event is being coordinated by Kylie Sims, who will assign roles on the night. If you’re able to lend a hand, we’d love your support. This is a chance to come together as a club, make a real difference, and contribute to something bigger than ourselves. Please register your interest if you’re keen to be involved. |
