🏆 What an Incredible Finals Weekend!

Wow—what a weekend! The excitement, the energy, the unforgettable plays—our finals were truly spectacular. Fans, families, and players came together to celebrate the spirit of softball, creating an atmosphere that will be remembered well into the off-season.

We are extremely proud of all our teams this season. There has been remarkable growth and improvement across both players and squads. This year, we had 8 teams in the finals, with 5 claiming victory in their grades:  U13 Cyclones, U15 Bulldogs, U19 Bombers, Div 1 Wildcats and Prem Reserve Men

And 3 teams finishing as runners-up: Prem Reserve Women Panthers and Div 1 Men and Div 3 Men Rangers

Additionally, our Div 3 Phoenix and U15/17 Jaguars ladies competed fiercely for 3rd and 4th place. An outstanding achievement by all our teams—we couldn’t be prouder of every player!

UNIFORMS RETURNS - A BIG THANK YOU!

A huge thank you to everyone who returned their uniforms over the weekend. As much as we love seeing a sea of green on finals day, collecting the uniforms this way is the most efficient method for managing them.  This season, we have 22 outstanding uniforms—some being held for the Easter Tournament, and others that we know will be returned soon. We can’t thank you enough for your help. It takes a few hours to launder every pant and shirt, and it took five of us four hours just to sort, and sign everything back in—a massive effort that wouldn’t be possible without everyone’s support.

If you still have a uniform to return, you can drop it off at either:

  • Suzette: 11 Devana Court, Torbay
  • Philippa: During work hours at Robinson and Running, Level 1/7 ANZAC Road, Browns Bay

Alternatively, you can contact us at uniforms@ecbsoftball.org.nz to arrange a return.

Thank you so much for helping us keep our club running smoothly!
