As we kick off the second half of the season, it’s been fantastic to see so many of our ECB players representing North Harbour over the break. We’ve loved tuning in to live feeds when available and following your progress — well done to everyone involved!

As summer heats up, please remember to be sun smart at the park. With the sun at its strongest, make sure you Slip, Slop, Slap and stay hydrated throughout the day.

Watch this space for Top Up Tuesday — extra weekly sessions designed to sharpen fielding skills and batting performance. Bron will come out with more details shortly.

We’re excited to announce ECB Club Day on Saturday 7 February! This is one of our designated club days and a great opportunity for us to come together and raise much-needed funds for the club.

Calling all bakers! If you can, please bring a plate of baked goods to support our bake sale. Not a baker? No problem — we’d really appreciate any time you can spare to help on the day.
Each team will be asked to provide at least one person to help in the control room to cover the morning schedule.

If you’re able to do some baking, please drop your goods off at the gazebos by the club rooms on Saturday morning. If you can volunteer your time in the control room, please get in touch at

🎟️ OUR CALENDAR RAFFLE TICKETS - NOW ON SALE! 

Each player will receive 4 raffle tickets per team to sell. Please reach out to your friends and family to help sell your tickets. Once sold, return the ticket stubs and funds to your team manager.

🗓️ How the Raffle Works

  • Ticket sales run from late January until 21 February 2026 (or until sold out)
  • Tickets are $10 each, available through ECB players and teams
  • Each ticket gives you 31 chances to win
  • A winner is drawn every day from 1–31 March 2026
  • Winning tickets are re-entered into all remaining draws
  • Each day features a different prize

Fundraising helps ensure our club can continue to operate safely and smoothly. These funds go toward:

  • Maintaining gear and equipment to proper safety standards
  • New uniforms 
  • Covering essential costs like lock-up hire
  • Bringing in specialist trainers

Our club is run by volunteers, and your support helps us provide a safe, supportive environment, develop our members, and keep the club thriving for everyone involved.

🏆EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST - AWARDS COMMITTEE 

We are seeking expressions of interest from anyone who is passionate about prizegiving and awards to join our Awards Committee.

This role is open to non-committee members and involves helping those committee members who review the award nominations are ensure fairly selected. It’s a great opportunity for someone who spends a lot of time watching junior and/or senior games — and has observed sportsmanship and performance across a wide range of ECB players.

Being part of the Awards Committee allows for a well-rounded and balanced perspective when reviewing nominees and recognising outstanding contributions across the club.

Janbre Group’s support goes beyond sport — they are deeply committed to supporting Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) and helping families during their toughest times. We are incredibly grateful for their generous support in outfitting our four Under 13 teams in their new-look ECB tops.

Janbre Group also hosts an annual fundraiser for RMHC, Champagne on the Shore, with a save the date set for Thursday 7 May 2026.
