The regular season officially kicks off this weekend — with the U15/17 Girls and U17/19 Boys teams taking the field on Friday, 31 October, and all other grades starting on Saturday, 1 November. Game Draws: North Harbour have now being loaded, so keep an eye out for your game times. It's important to check towards the end of the week, as things can change until the draw is finalised. CLUB CAPTAIN UPDATE This part of the season can bring a few challenges as we work to balance out our teams. Sometimes this means a few players — and occasionally coaches — might be shuffled around to make sure every team is set up for success. We know this can feel a bit unsettling, especially for our juniors, but we ask parents to please be patient and understanding while we find the right fit for everyone. Our top priority is ensuring every player gets regular game time so they can participate, learn, and enjoy the game — all within the spirit and rules of softball. This season we held pre-season trainings at Freyberg Park as we waited for diamonds to become available to us at Rosedale, we are just looking for feedback for these sessions as well as the recent Daisaku Pitching/Batting clinics at Sunnynook. JUNIOR PITCHERS CLINIC BY NORTH HARBOUR Pitching Clinic – Sunday 2 November - 10am Diamond 2 Join us for a great session run by North Harbour Softball, with experienced helpers on hand to guide you through the pitching fundamentals for your grade. Just show up – no registration required! CATCHERS CLINIC WITH TROY - REGISTER NOW Whether you're just learning how to catch or looking to sharpen your skills, these Catchers Clinics are a great opportunity to improve your game. You'll learn key techniques, develop new skills, and pick up helpful tips to become a more confident and capable catcher. The clinics are designed for beginner to intermediate players Under 11 to Under 17, with a separate advanced session for Under 15 - Under 19 players. (advanced = you've caught for a few seasons and are comfortable in the position and are just looking to fine tune) If you don’t have your own gear, please check with your coach to see if you can borrow your team’s catchers equipment for the clinic. Clinic Dates & Times: 🕓 Time: 4:30pm – 5:45pm📍 Location: Diamond 15 In order for Troy to be able to run an effective clinic, we need you to register so we know numbers, so please register below.
