Kia ora ECB whanau. 

With the season now finished we look forward to our prizegivings to celebrate the 2023/24 season.  Our head scorer Andie is currently working through our scorebooks getting the statistics from each game which we use for some of these prizegiving awards.  

CLUB AWARD NOMINATIONS

Whilst some of our Club Awards are based on statistics gathered by your team scorer, some awards are by nomination by our ECB Softball Club members.  You can make a nomination in as many categories as you like, nominations are open to ALL financial members of our ECB Softball Club. For juniors your parent or guardian is able to nominate on your behalf.

Nominations close on Sunday 16 April and winner selected by the executive committee. 

JUNIOR PRIZEGIVING - 28 APRIL 2024

Junior Prizegiving is when we celebrate all our junior grades from our Under 5 Taniwha through to our U15/17 Girls and U17/19 Boys.  The prizegiving is staggered in timings and a full schedule will be released as soon as it's available.  This will also be downloadable on the day via QR code. 

WHEN: Sunday 28 April 2024 - Start 1pm - expected finish time 4pm
WHERE: Rosedale Park - Stadium Seating (by Freeman Field D1)
We will have pizza and Mr Whippy there for the players and team management.

SENIOR PRIZEGIVING - 4 MAY 2024

Senior Prizegiving is for our Div 3 teams through to Premier grades. This prizegiving dinner is open to anyone within the club including all senior players and our coaches, and management staff from ALL grades. 

WHEN: Saturday 4 May 2024 arrive from 6.45pm for 7.15pm start
WHERE: Rosedale Park - Club Rooms
TICKET COST: $50 per ticket / a discounted ticket of $30* is available if you are an ECB Team Coach, ECB Team Scorer, ECB Team Manager of any team or a NHSA official orange shirt umpire *maximum of 4 discounted tickets per team.
 

Your Prizegiving Ticket includes a Spit Roast meal including meats, salads and desert, you will also receive 1 drinks ticket for a house beer, wine or soft drink. (prize winners will also receive a drinks ticket).

Senior Prizegiving Schedule: (TBC) 

• Start arriving from 6.45pm - please enter through front door to be checked in.
• 7.15pm Team Awards starts
• 8.00pm Dinner
• 8.30pm Club Awards
• Grazing dessert throughout club awards
• 11.00pm finish

Spit roasted beef rump (GF)
Champagne Ham on the Bone with honey mustard (GF)
Fancy Lettuce & Vegetable - a combination of mesclun leaves, carrot, cucumber, tomato and red cabbage garnish (GF)
Indonesian Rice - steamed rice flavoured with onion, Peanuts, red capsicum and lightly curried (GF)
Long Cut Gourmet Coleslaw - kiwi classic of long cut cabbage mixed with grated carrot and onion in our dressing (GF)
Gourmet Potato - baby potatoes, onion,celery and parsley in sour cream (GF)
Assortment of freshly baked bread rolls served with butter packs
Grazing Desserts

Please note: Club members attending the SNR Prizegiving who are under the age of 18, may consume alcohol if they are accompanied by a parent and that parent purchases the alcohol for them.  

Even though this is a private function, we need to respect our Clubrooms so please drink responsibly and don't bring your own alcohol.

UNIFORM RETURN 
Thank you to everyone that handed back their uniforms on the last day. We still have a few outstanding returns, if you still have tops and/or pants please return these no later than Friday 26 April to Philippa (address below) .

Do you want to keep yourself upskilled over winter?  Then look at joining a Winter Slow Pitch team.  Full details of the season can be found on the North Harbour Website, but to join a team or find out if it's right for you, join our

OFF SEASON TRAINING
