Kia ora ECB whanau,

With only two weekends left in the softball season we wanted to say thank everyone for making this such a successful season.

We are overwhelmed by the support we have received from the club. With our Friends of the Committee aka. FocERs who help out in club days and whenever additional support is needed, to our coaches, assistant coaches, managers, scorers and umpires. Not forgetting our parents that uber their children to the park for training and games. We realise that softball is often not the only activity that children do during the week so appreciate you supporting their them and their team and last but not least our amazing players from under 5 to our seniors who make a sea of green at the park each week.

It really does take a village and what an amazing village we have had this season.

Good luck to all our teams in their final two weeks of softball, we look forward to getting around and supporting all our teams.

PRIZEGIVING DATES
Prizegiving date have been set and we will come out with full details in a seperate email, but please save the date for these.

UNIFORM RETURN - LAST PLAYING WEEKEND
This year we have over 500 pieces of uniforms out across the club and will be collecting these all back on finals weekend. We are asking our ECB whanau to ensure you bring a change of clothes on the last day of play, so you can change and hand back your uniform to your manager/coach after the game.

Players that forget a change of clothes, will need to return to the park and sign their uniform in with the Uniform Returns area which will be set up by diamond 3.

For those players who are no longer playing or will not be playing on Friday or Saturday can return their uniform anytime before finals weekend.

YES, we do want them back dirty! We take them to the laundromat and they are washed with a special detergent and we complete our sign in checks at the same time. Any uniforms outstanding at this point becomes time consuming for the committee to chase up, so we appreciate everyone that gets their uniform back on time.

Last playing days are:
Friday 22 March for U15/17 Girls and U17/19 Boys
Saturday 23 March All other grades.

TEAM PHOTOS
Final checks have been made on the team photos, and we expect that your managers should have these for last playing Saturday. If you haven't ordered and would still like a photo, the cut off is this Friday 15 March 5pm and you can order online. CLICK HERE to order

CALENDAR RAFFLE
Thank you everyone that supported our Calendar Raffle sales!! The fundraiser was very successful and we'll be able to go ahead and get the replacement gear required for the upcoming season.

Congratulations to our Cougars Div 3 ladies, who won our top sales prize of NZD100. They sold over 120 tickets.
