Kia ora ECB Whanau, We wanted to express a huge THANK YOU to our ECB family, committee, parents and FOCers who donated their time to our club on Club Duty Day. The market was extremely successful raising $2500 to the club which will help go towards more equipment and youth playing shirts. In this newsletter you'll find:

Congratulations everyone, we know you'll make the most of these awesome experiences and opportunities. To help our ECB players we are holding a MOVIE NIGHT Fundraiser Monday 04 December 6.30pm, to see the new Hunger Games movie. Come along, bring your friends and family and support our young players.  |

SOFTBALL PLAYER CARDS Player Cards are being handed out by the Prem Team for the the U7 to U15 teams. These were a huge hit over the weekend with inter club trades, negotiations and swaps. If you are trying to collect the ECB Premier Players cards, below is a list of the player cards available. There will be more limited releases of different card types throughout the season.
HOW TO GET MORE CARDS? Teams will be given an allocation and a small amount will be given out each week over the next few weeks through to Christmas. Watch out on Facebook for the Mystery Misfit - the first 5 to find the mystery misfit will get a player card. www.facebook.com/ecbsoftball The Eyes - we have eyes all over the park and want to acknowledge those seen looking after our home ground, being a great sportsperson and exhibiting our ECB values and being #ecbproud. The ‘Eyes’ can give out cards throughout the day. You'll just never know who it will be!!! WHERE TO GET THE CARDS SIGNED? Saturday 02 December 11am you can find some players warming up for their Prem Reserve games by diamond 3. 4.30pm - 5pm - the Misfits Prem team will be available to sign cards following their game at Freeman Field Come watch the Misfits Prem/Prem Reserve teams this weekend:
Our Prem players often play in 2-3 teams including the U17/19 Rebels and U17/19 Gladiators who play on a Friday night 6pm. They also play on Saturdays with the rest of the squad in the Prem and/or Prem Reserve games. If approaching them for signatures please just be mindful if they are in the middle of a game that their minds may be elsewhere. |

IMPORTANT INFORMATION CANCELLATION OF SGM MEETING ECB PLAYER CAPS ARE NOW AVAILABLE FRIDAY ‘FESTIVAL NIGHT’ - 01 DECEMBER Grades playing include Under 11, Under 13, Under 15/17 Girls and Under 17/19 Boys. Even if your team isn't playing can come down and watch some softball – and take a chance to do some player card swapping for those kids collecting! Please double check the draw as there may have been some time changes. |
