NHSA have had a complaint from NSCC regarding pitching mats left on diamonds. They are killing the grass. The guys who cut the field have to constantly remove pitching mats left on diamonds after week practices. They are threatening to make us remove these completely away from the diamonds while not used. The ground crew have enough to do without having to cart these from the shed every Saturday morning. Can you please ensure they are not left on the diamonds after practice. They were also left exactly where the pitching mat is used in a game. No team is to practice on the Saturday prepared areas. They are to practice to the side of batter’s box and pitching area. - 19/07/2009

This is clearly indicated on the signs placed at the entrances and by the traffic cones that must be negotiated. It is requested that it is conveyed to all your members that these car parks are reserved by NHSA for NHSA and visiting Officials. This does not include players, coaches or managers of any team or Affiliate office holders.

Uniforms
Please note, players are not to train in their uniforms to assist in reducing wear and tear etc. Uniforms are for games only.
The old uniforms will be available for purchase at just $10 per set if players would like training gear, so that their clothes are not ruined when sliding etc. We will bring some along on the 18th October. - 18/9/2008
